Rainbow Room Lounge

The Rainbow Room is a Port Alberni institution and hub for live music. Situated on the upper floor of Rainbow Lanes bowling alley, owner Dave Rutherford works hard to promote music. Dave is well known in the Valley and his Island Entertainment business is also available for location A/V. Island Entertainment has been leading the way for live music in the Valley for a long time, including the annual Alberni Valley Fall Fair and Salmon Festival.

The Rainbow Room is the original home of the Youth Battle of the Bands. The Battle of the Bands is a part of the Zattzoo Project Charitable organization created in memory of local hip hop artist Zakk Coss. The organization's mandate is to promote and reward Vancouver Island youth musicians.
