My name is Lyndon Cassell and I am your host as you journey your way through this site and the Amazing Alberni Valley. I specialize in Landscape Photography, Event Photography, Sports and Commercial Photography. This site has a dual purpose: to showcase the spectacular region in which I live, work, and play; and secondly, to showcase my photography. This is a great place to start your journey and learn about the region, starting from Coombs at the intersection of highway 1 where you turn off onto highway 4, making your way through Whiskey Creek, past Cameron Lake, through Cathedral Grove, over the "Hump" and descending into the Valley

What's happening in the Alberni Valley
June 2, 2023: Part of the unofficial start to summer in the Alberni Valley is the return of live music on the Harbour Quay. Almost every weekend throughout the summer you can find "Big Daddy and Friends" jammin' it out while locals and visitors alike dance to country and rock cover tunes.
May 2, 2023: I have been chosen as the official photographer for this three day 80 team softball tournament, and two night music festival.
The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are the Coastal Conference winners. While they went on to loose the BCHL final Fred Page Cup to the Penticton Vees, their season was historical. This was the first season the Bulldogs have ever advanced to the finals. Congratulations to all.
April 15, 2023: The Youth Battle of the Bands was held at the Rainbow Room. This is the Zattzoo Organization's 9th year and the 10th anniversary battle in 2024 is expected to be a very extravagant event.
March 19 2023: Canadian Country sensation George Canyon came to Port Alberni as part of his "Our Country Tour" Presented by Five Acre Co Events and The Peak 93.3
March 25 2023: Vancouver based Alive N Kissin' brought their tribute to rock legends KISS to the Rainbow Room for a night of classic Kiss songs
March 7 2023: A couple of Canadian Navy Frigates came to Port for a couple of days. It was great to see two ships tied up side by side at the Port Authority Docks. We welcomed HMCS Ottawa (left) and HMCS Winnipeg (right)
