Take a look at a few of my trips beyond "The Hump" as I take day trips for specific purposes or just for fun. The most recent trip I have taken was North Vancouver Island in mid March 2023. Locations included Campbell River, Black Creek, The Comox Valley and Bowser.
Black Diamond, Alberta
On July 1, 2011 I was fortunate enough to get close to where the Canada Day fireworks in Black Diamond, Alberta were set off in a field. This is by far the closest I have ever been to them and even though I had to shoot upward, the show was impressive and the images are pretty cool!
