Bon Johnsons

Nanaimo, BC based AC/DC Cover Tribute band "The Bon Johnsons" performed at the Rainbow Room on May 27, 2023. Their singer is as close to Bon Scott as you're going to get. These guys have only been together for a year and are extremely impressive with their covers of mostly the Bon Scott era of AC/DC. Well worth the show. Derrick (aka Angus Young) is all over the place, showing us what Angus is like. I jokingly asked him before the show if he has an oxygen tank. A couple of songs in and I was no longer joking - he was just like Angus. If the stage was much bigger he would had been moving more and needed the oxygen.
