The City of Port Alberni holds a massive collection of impressive Industrial Heritage locations, structures, and automobiles, equipment and more.

The Industrial Heritage Centre is home to a collection of antique trucks including logging trucks and old fire trucks. The group of volunteers in charge of these assets are part of the Industrial Heritage Society. It is their responsibility to maintain the large inventory. This collection us put on public display in the Valley yearly. They are also driven in the Canada Day parade, and are taken to shows on the island and have travelled to North Western United States for shows.

Antique Truck Show and more.
The volunteers of the Industrial Heritage Society are tasked with event participation including truck shows, steam donkey demonstrations, and other events that show off the industrial heritage equipment under their control. Each year, usually during the Labour Day long weekend in September, the Industrial Heritage Society hosts an impressive display of antique automobiles that served the logging industry of Vancouver Island.
