Sturdy Lemon was the final performance of the evening and what a performance it was. After watching their impressive performance at the 2022 Battle, I was a little bias to watching their guitar player Sydney McGillawee. His wild guitar playing won him the honour of best guitarist at this years battle and he should be proud. His stage presence is right up there. As a matter of fact, every single member of Sturdy Lemon has a top notch stage performance and I really look forward to seeing them again, soon! Sturdy Lemon is a part of Todd Flaro's "Alberni Teens Can Rock", an organization in the Alberni Valley that harnesses the talent of musicians.
