Sunset - June 15 2018

Days like this day are a dream as a photographer. A warm late Spring evening with light rain, spectacular cloud formations and the sun about to set below the clouds. I was doing my usual at this time: closing up my shop, getting a hot chocolate and driving to Victoria Quay. The show was just starting. After getting some images in the rain and marveling over the double rainbow, I moved back to just outside by business where I took a few images of the orange glow in the clouds. From there I drove up Johnston road and was met by one of the coolest skies I've ever seen in Port Alberni. It was moving in from over Mt Arrowsmith so I parked in the mall parking lot and finished my evening taking images of the sky. If I had my time back I most likely would had stayed out shooting.
