Welcoming Figures
Hupacasath First Nations carvers Welcoming Figures at Victoria Quay
The "Welcoming Figures" are located at the bottom of Johnston Road overlooking the Somass River. They were created by local Hupacasath First Nations carvers. One of the figures is positioned to face the water while the other faces the land. This is by design so that the Welcoming Figures "welcome" people from the water and the land. They reside between the Victoria Quay and Clutesi Haven Marina.
