Port Alberni Toy Run
Lyndon Cassell Photography
The Annual Port Alberni Toy Run is one of the most impressive, if not the most impressive, display of motorcycles in all of Canada. Each fall motorcycle rider from all over the province descend on the Alberni Valley to support the annual Christmas toy drive. Bikes line up at Little Qualicum Falls on the other side of "The Hump" for the start. When it begins hundreds of motorcycles, lead by dear old Santa Claus himself, begin their journey into Port Alberni. Coming down Johnson St, they make their way along Third Avenue to the Harbour Quay. At the Harbour Quay they swing around the water fountain, make their way back up Argyle St, head on across 10th Avenue, and end their ride at the Glenwood Center on the Fall Fair Grounds.
