The Paper Mill Dam is located in the North end of the City of Port Alberni. It is very close to the Orange Bridge. The Paper Mill Dam is a small city owned park and is a very special location. The park sits on the shores of the mouth of the Somass River. Locals and First Nations fish here. During the right times of the year you could probably see a black bear and it's a wonderful place to watch the eagles hang out, looking for salmon.
