The annual Paper Chase road race in Port Alberni, first introduced by Catalyst Paper and now back and coordinated by the Alberni Valley Chamber of Commerce, is a sanctioned road race. A 15 km run, this special event is part of the Vancouver Island Road Race series and features some of the best runners from BC. I started shooting this event in 2017, the year is was re-introduced after many years away from the circuit, and have been the official photographer every year since.
