Azalea Flowers

Azalea Flowers stared in May 2015 and operated until the end of 2022. It was owned and operated by partners Pam Fong and Lyndon Cassell. During their time in operation they were awarded the award Most Welcoming workplace at the 2018 Chamber of Commerce Business Awards. The flower shop specialized in all events such as birthday and anniversary flowers, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day and Christmas flowers and arrangements. Sympathy flowers and Funeral Service arrangements were a big part of their business. The majority of their customers were over the phone while those who walked in were treated with a smile, a very kind heart, and assurances their privacy was respected. Gifts included gift baskets, stuffed toys and a collection of Port Alberni coffee mugs. Their gift baskets were a favourite of customers and delivered for such occasions as sympathies and Christmas. Plants were also a large part of their inventory and many repeat customers loved to come in for a look to see what was new in the house plant selection. Their Port Alberni coffee mugs were unique. The mugs were created in the store and featured images of the Alberni Valley. These images were taken by the owner, Lyndon Cassell, who is also a professional photographer and the owner of this site "The Amazing Alberni Valley".
